The World Congress of Environmental History 2024 is overseen by the WCEH disciplinary authority, the International Consortium of Environmental History Organizations (ICEHO), which also appoints the Scientific Committee. The congress is organized on the ground by the Biodiverse Anthropocenes Research Programme and the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Oulu.
